Abstract : One of the most alterations in human breast cancer is the overexpression of the c-erbB-2 protooncogene that has been shown to occur in 25-30% of human breast tumors. Recently this increased expression has been shown to correlate with the presence of the transcription factor AP-2. We have begun to determine the role of AP-2 both in normal mammary gland development and in breast cancer.
