Abstract : This summarizes the results of an Energy Engineering Analysis Program (EEAP) of the Bad Kreuznach Military Community. It was conducted by Kling-Lindquist Engineers, Inc. (K/L) for the Department of the Army, Europe Division of the Corps of Engineers under Contract No. DACA-90-82-0187. Kling-Lindquist, Inc., employed the services of Robert M. Houston GmbH (RMH), Frankfurt, Germany, to assist in the field survey, cost estimating and other phases of the work requiring local knowledge. The objective of this project was to identify cost effective means by which energy consumption at the Military Community can be reduced in accordance with the goals and objectives set forth in the Army Facilities Energy Plan (AFEP). This plan has set a goal for FY 85 to reduce energy consumption by 20% from the total energy consumption of FY 75.
