Abstract : This section contains the life-cycle cost analyses, energy calculations, and cost estimates for ECO-1: Install High Efficiency Interior/Exterior Lighting Systems. For the buildings in this ECO, multiple options have been calculated when applicable. These options include: (1) Fluorescent fixture replacement; (2) Incandescent lamp replacement; (3) Exit sign replacement; (4) Mercury vapor fixture replacement; (5) Conventional sky light installation with automatic lighting control. A single life-cycle cost analysis and cost estimate was performed for each building which grouped all applicable options together. The following pages contain the analysis for the Airfield buildings. These buildings contained a variety of fixtures. The following table details the replacement fixtures used.
