Abstract : The purpose of this study is to identify and evaluate Energy Conservation Opportunities (ECOs), to determine their energy savings potential and economic feasibility, and to document results for possible future funding. The Ground Based Electro-Optical Deep Space Surveillance (GEODSS) Facility, Building 34568, is a windowless, concrete block structure approximately 10,000 square feet. The building is located on the northern end of the White Sands Missile Range in central New Mexico. The building consists of a large central computer room with perimeter offices. Concrete towers at three corners of the building are topped with telescopes in movable domes. The building is occupied 24 hours per day.
