Abstract : The Kirovgrad Concentrator Plant was activated in 1931 and in its first few years its processing of ores involved an incomplete recovery of all valuable components. For instance, the ores of the Karpushinskiy Deposit were processed to obtain copper, zinc and pyrite concentrates, but the quality of these concentrates was low -- as was the degree of recovery of metals from them.
