Abstract : The Weldon Spring site is about 30 miles west of St. Louis, Missouri; it consists of a 217 acre chemical plant and a 9 acre quarry. The site was both radioactively and chemically contaminated as a result of past processing and disposal activities. This report describes the activities employed to clean up the site.
