Abstract : The Detailed Project Report was completed on 31 March 1965 and found the project to be economically feasible. The recommended plan is shown on the attached Plate 1. The plan of improvement calls for enlargement and realinement of the existing channels on Buck Creek and its principal tributaries which will provide varying degrees of protection within the watershed. The total length of channel improvements on Buck Creek and its tributaries is 18.94 miles, with 11.36 miles on Buck Creek, 2.89 miles on Deep Branch, 2.98 miles on Camp Swamp, and 1.71 miles on Hawkins Branch. Channel bottom widths vary from 10 feet to 35 feet with 1 to 1 side slopes.
