Abstract : Transverse testing of cermet speciments has been given primary attention during this quarter. The modulus of elasticity in flexure was obtained by means of the Tuckeerman optical strain gage for all cermet speciments of every brand and form with the exception of form D. The bending apparatus, collimator, and Tuckerman assembly are described and illustrated in a previous report (1). THe specimen dimensions, loading span, and length of moment arm are given.
