Abstract : This invention relates to containment devices or packages for chemiluminescent systems which use two or more components, one of which is an oxalate ester-fluorescer solution. It has now been found that irradiation cross-linked polyolefines are excellent materials for use in fabrication of containment devices for chemiluminescent systems. They are easy to fabricate and less expensive than Teflon FEP. They solve the problems of packaging for they can be stored at 165F for considerably longer periods of time and in that one can easily determine whether they are expended or not.
