Abstract : Copper, manganese and nickel ferrites are prepared by forming a solution of metallic sulfate and a ferrous sulfate. A mixed sulfate is formed when the solvent in the solution is evaporated. Heat transforms the mixed sulfate into the corresponding ferrite. These ferrites meet the appropriate electronic requirement for use as a material in a memory device of a high speed digital computer.
