Abstract : An object of the invention is to provide a system for performing the discrete Fourier transform via convolution using a transversal filter. Another object of the invention is to provide a system for the more accurate implementation of the discrete Fourier transform. Yet another object of the invention is to provide a system wherein the block length is even, thereby permitting the use of the same transversal filters which would be used for the ordinary chirp-Z transform.
