Abstract : Ceramics are applied by sintering, to aluminum or steel metal panels, and the composites are bonded to airfield pavement via adhesives or bolts anchored to the pavement. The composite markings provide a highly visible, durable marking method that resists adherence of rubber build-up to replace existing paints, tapes, plastic films, moplastic sprays, or other conventional marking materials.
