Abstract : The present invention provides novel thermally stable resins based on an arylether compound having terminal phenylethynyl groups. The resins are cured by heating, either in air or under an inert atmosphere such as argon, nitrogen, or the like. The compositions are particularly suitable for use in the fabrication of reinforced composite structures and for use as high temperature adhesives and coatings.
