Abstract : It is an object of this invention to provide a lubricant composition which has little if any corrosive effect upon ferrous alloys. Another object of the invention is to provide a lubricant composition which has a relatively constant viscosity over a wide temperature range. There is provided a lubricant composition comprising a base fluid consisting essentially of a mixture of fluorinated polyethers and a corrosion inhibiting amount of a substituted aromatic phosphine.
