Abstract : This patent application discloses a method for a fast and efficient grid generation to study the interaction of a moving body with a fluid in which it is traveling. The method includes setting up a grid including the grid generating equations based upon the flow equations in the fluid flow domain of interest. The grid generating equations are solved numerically using Newton's method and modified strongly implicit (MSI) method by going through a series of iterations determined by the thresholds on the error functions involved.
