Abstract : Palladium is enriched with respect to the 106 isotope when used as an anode at ambient temperatures in an electrolytic bath comprising D2O and a lithium, especially where the cathode is platinum. Significant amounts of Rh and Ag also form at the electrolyzed Pd anode. The enrichment of Pd by with respect to 106Pd, and quite likely the formation of the Rh and Ag, apparently result from nuclear processes.
