Abstract : This patent discloses an electronic countermeasure simulator that is particularly adaptable for use in missile fire control system vulnerability studies. A general purpose digital computer is used to control the simulation of true target radar skin return signals and ECM signals. These ECM signals would be representative of those produced by attacking and stand-off aircraft carrying deception and obscuration jamming. Keywords: Guided missile simulators; Fire control systems; Radar targets/signals; Patents; Radar jamming vulnerability; Aircraft defense systems; Search radar; Radar tracking; Guided missile countermeasures.
