Abstract : The presently claimed invention relates to photoactivatable polymers for producing patterned biomolecular assemblies. More particularly, the presently claimed invention relates to patterned network polymers formed upon substrates, the network polymers capable of binding biomolecules, and a method for forming the patterned network polymers upon various substrates for the subsequent binding of biomolecules such as antibodies or nucleic acid polymers.
