Abstract : Descriptions of the first spectra of neon, argon, and xenon 136, comprising calculated wavelengths, calculated wave numbers, relative intensities, and classifications, are presented. The calculated values are derived from currently best established energy levels, obtained mostly from interferometric observations and adopted as standards by the International Astronomical Union. All listed lines have actually been observed. This paper makes available a compilation of all results previously presented in fragmentary or relatively inaccessible reports with intensities normalized to as nearly a uniform scale as the various observations permit.
