Abstract : An interactive FORTRAN IV computer program is given for computing thermophysical properties of argon, ethylene, parahydrogen, nitrogen, nitrogen trifluoride, and oxygen. The program is designed for use with a computer terminal accessing a large computer in an interactive mode. The program provides prompting for selection of several options including: (1) choice of fluid, (2) choice of SI or engineering units, (3) choice of the single phase or liquid-vapor phase, and (4) a table of properties or a single value. Properties are computed for the single phase region from input of two of the variables, temperature, pressure, and density. Values on the liquid-vapor boundary are computed from an entry of temperature or pressure. The program returns values for pressure, temperature, density, internal energy, enthalpy, entropy, specific heats at constant volume and pressure, and sound velocity. Viscosity, thermal conductivity, and dielectric constant are given for some of the fluids.
