The 'MOD IV World Class Circuit Board Line' video tape was created at Honeywell's Home & Building Control Division (HBCD) and demonstrates manufacturing automation available for improving affordability. The basic approach was to limit the use of human services and to reply on the mechanical operations on an assembly line. The assembly line shows a production figure of 2 SMT Boards per minute. The RASSP report concludes that the MOD IV approach, if used on the RASSP report concludes that the MOD IV approach, if used on the RASSP PCB assembly line, it would reduce risk and is a possible solution for the RASSP assembly line.
