Jackson, SC, by the U.S. Army Natick, Research, Development and Engineering Center. In conjunction with the fit test, 33 anthropometric measurements of the foot and lower leg, plus stature and weight, were obtained on 867 male and female soldiers. This data set comprises anthropometric and a limited amount of biographical data on the full male sample (n=293) and for a female subsample (n=491) which was reconfigured to more closely represent the demographic composition of the 1985 U.S. Army female population. More detailed information regarding the structure of the test, the sample, and the measurement definitions can be found in Natick Technical Report 92/028.
