Abstract : During the past several years, the major ejector activity within the Navy has concentrated on the Thrust Augmentor Wing (TAW) concept and its application to the Rockwell XFV-12A technology demonstrator. Other papers to be presented in this workshop will discuss in detail the work that was accomplished during this program. The purpose of this paper is to outline some of the recent ejector technology work supported by the Naval Air Development Center jointly with the Air Force and/or NASA AMES and the rationale behind the programs.
