Abstract : This paper reports an effectiveness evaluation of the use of indirect-fire munitions against steel-and reinforced concrete-framed structures in an urban environment. Effects include collapse of columns due to lateral blast loads, crushing of columns by vertical blast loads, response of interior and exterior walls to blast and fragments, response of personnel to blast overpressures and wall debris, and the formation and location of rubble caused by the detonations of these munitions.
