Abstract : Numerical results are presented for the viscous interaction between a flap performing small amplitude time oscillations, and an otherwise steady, laminar, boundary layer. The method used involves Fourier decomposing the solution in time, a technique which appears to have a number of advantages over more conventional time marching schemes. (Author)
