Abstract : The paper outlines the state-of-the-art design methods for analog active RC filters suitable for microelectronic hybrid or monolithic implementation. Only practical designs are presented which will lead to filters that have been proven to result in reliable performance. Space restrictions do not permit the inclusion of detailed design procedures and equations, but limits on operation are identified and numerous references are given that enable the reader to arrive at a working filter.
