Abstract : Digital Signal Processing (DSP) is a term encompassing a variety of techniques for transforming digital samples of analog signals into samples of analog signals having more desirable characteristics. This paper is concerned only with DSP techniques which involve arithmetic in the usual sense, i.e., addition, multiplication, etc.
