Abstract : Recent research conducted by DRI for the Air Force Human Resources Laboratory has focused on the selection and implementation of self-paced resident training methodologies, including factors that influence the selection of computer-based technologies and factors impacting the successful implementation of nonconventional instructional roles. The results of these research programs are consolidated and presented in the form of a first cut decision aid for training managers faced with the decision of whether or not to individualize their resident training programs.
