Abstract : An analytical/computational model based upon the elastic-viscoelastic correspondence principle is developed and employed for the purpose of providing insight into the influence of the viscoelastic character of a solid propellant rocket motor grain upon the response of the grain during combustion. The model employs actual time-dependent material properties and predicts the stress and strain response to internal pressure variation. (Author)
