Abstract : An application of holography to the measurement of fluid velocity in 3-D domains is proposed. After a short description of the method, an example of application to the water flow around a circular cylinder at low Reynolds number is presented. Then, the main limitations of the method are discussed and solutions are proposed to overcome them.
