Abstract : The EULER time dependent solver of MATRA is described and the fundamental problem of separated flow simulation with an inviscid model is addressed, in particular separation on a smooth surface. The last part of the paper is devoted to applications pertinent to missile aerodynamics, ranging from simple configurations to complete missiles flow simulations.
