Abstract : Spaced receiver scintillation measurements made at Thule, Greenland during two sunspot maximum CEDAR High Latitude Plasma Structure (HLPS) campaigns in Dec 1988 and Nov 1989 have been analyzed to yield phase and amplitude scintillation magnitude, decorrelation time, irregularity drifts and anisotropy of the ground diffraction pattern during well defined polar cap patch and sun-aligned arc events. It is found that all these parameters tend to be different in these two classes of events which are controlled by the Bz component of the interplanetary magnetic field.
