Abstract : The use of Engineering Simulation as a design support tool is becoming more prevalent in assisting design engineers in prototyping new concepts in advanced integrated helicopters. The primary goal in using Full Mission Simulation as a risk reduction tool is that it can provide significant insight into critical design areas. In this capacity, it allows the research engineer the means to review critical design issues and assess areas of high risk associated with air vehicle design.
