Abstract : This research investigated gender differences associated with the relationship between antecedents and outcomes (emotional and physical well-being, and absenteeism) of job and life stress. The pattern of relationships between the stress related predictors and criterion variables were similar for males and females. The relationships, predicting absenteeism were, however, more complex for females than those for males.
