Abstract : A pulse train laser with low peak power can heat a dense plasma effectively and promote ionization of atoms up to higher stages such as lithium-like aluminum. This fact was proved by soft x-ray spectra. X-ray emission from laser produced plasma has been extensively studied for many years and now has found new promising application in variety of field, including, for example, various forms of x-ray spectroscopy, x-ray laser, as well as microscopy and lithography.
