Abstract : Direct and indirect microwave processing of bulk and thick film type sensors has a significant influence on performance, such as sensitivity and noise level, in flux modulated magnetometer devices, developed in our laboratory. Microwave processing effects the material structures and thus device characteristics. Our present results represent the first steps in attempts to configure resistors, capacitors and sensors into a complete functional circuit by one processing means.
