Abstract : The development of coherent structure formed between coflowing vertical jets at moderate Reynolds numbers has been studied experimentally. By means of LDA and flow visualization it has been possible produce data enough to describe the flow subjected to the effects of axial forcing, and to obtain conclusions about vorticity distributions in vortex rings and their effect to improve mixing between coflowing jets.
